Tourism Minister K Lakshminarayanan outlined the diverse range of activities planned for the festival, including stage shows, water sports, musical performances encompassing both Western and classical genres, traditional arts such as silambam and thappatam, puppet shows, catamaran races, kite flying, a fashion show, volleyball tournament, and exhibitions, among other attractions.
On April 16, the festival will culminate with a seafood festival scheduled from 10:30 am to 09:30 pm, offering a delectable showcase of culinary delights from the region.
Minister Lakshminarayanan emphasized Puducherry’s status as a premier tourism destination, drawing visitors from neighboring states such as Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh on weekends.
